Guest Maestro Mysterieux Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 I have a folder C:/Config.Msi created on 26 February 2006. I don't know where it came from. It has 6 *.rbf files, all with names like 2fc60a21.rbf, and an 4c68fb.rbs file. Most of the sizes are just under 500 kb. They are not text files. Where did they (or the folder) come from? Are they important? Can I delete them?
Guest Ron Badour Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Re: rbf files in folder Config.Msi From what I can find, those files aid in the troubleshooting and/or uninstalling of MS Office. Rather than a straight delete, rename the folder and see if anything complains about its absence. If not and if your Office applications are working correctly, then delete away. -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP 1997 - 2007 <Maestro Mysterieux> wrote in message news:ugm2a3t4g70gu50h9j2i61ss23tjof60c3@4ax.com... >I have a folder C:/Config.Msi created on 26 February 2006.
