Hi, when I plug any USB devices into my PC ( it happened with old

motherboard and this new one!) my PC makes the 'connected ok' sound but no

icon is created in 'My Computer or 'explorer' and no usb devices show under

the 'send to' list. Can anybody PLEASE help?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

This could be due to drive-letter conflict, which can be easily resolved via the Disk Management MMC. See:
