I had a Trojan problem (Vundo) that i think i have excised.

Now, when i pull up the task manager, all the top menus are gone

including maximize and minimize. How do i get the menus back

on the top of the task manager?

Without these menus, i cannot close the task manager once i open it

with ctr/alt/del

Your Task Manager is in Tiny Footprint Mode. Easy fix - double-click the

empty space in the border around the tabs to get it out of Tiny

Footprint Mode.

Uh-huh. And how did you accomplish that? Your post suggests that more

needs to be done, Bob.

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log

to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1

(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with

assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

analysis, not here.**

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this

isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and

independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
