FTP.EXE is not in use, usually. Therefore, scan your system for malware.

As a workaround, kill that process via the task manager.

Hi Nelson,

 

My first suggestion would be to scan for viruses/trojans/malware and clean

up any nasties that may be lurking, just as the previous two posters

suggested.

 

If you still encounter that error message, after having cleaned up your
