clearing internet history

Re: clearing internet history

Apparently my condition does not exactly match your problem as when I press

the 'Yes' key to delete the item it does delete it.

I presume you are logged on with an account that has administrative

privileges.

The way to search the registry is to run regedit and then press Ctrl+f (or

from the menu bar click Edit/Find) then enter the web site's URL in the

'Find what' field. Put check marks for 'Keys', 'Values' and 'Data', uncheck

'Match whole string only' box, then click on the 'Find Next' button. If you

find the URL in the registry delete it and then press the F3 key to continue

searching for additional occurrences, repeat as necessary.
