Guest Newsgroup Guy Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 Hi. I tried to make a fresh installation of Windows NT. Unfortunately, after doing so, I realized that the display was really bad, in only 16 colors and 640x480 resolution. I have no idea how to improve this, and I have no CDs that were originally packaged with the computer because it is a very old PC. Can someone help me with this, please?

Wrong newsgroup (this is for those running Windows Millennium) however your problem is due to your not having installed the appropriate video driver for your graphics card/chip so are running at default VGA settings. Given the age of your system it may be difficult to find the necessary drivers but start by visiting the web site of the graphics card manufacturer and looking for and downloading an NT compatible driver for your graphics card. -- Mike Maltby mike.maltby@gmail.com
