I had my Microsoft updates set up for everyday at 3:00am. However I

want to change it to only once a week, but every time I try and change

it, it reverts back to the same settings. What am doing wrong?

RE: Schedueling Microsoft Updates:

I am thinking you using XP Sp2

go start/ right click My Computer, choose the system restore tab...tick off

the box

Turn off system restore on all drives...restart the computer....

go start/ right click My Computer, choose automatic updates tab...make the

changes....you desire...and then reboot again...

go back to system restore once re-started and unclick the box in the restore

tab...

Done...Sometimes system restore keeps things it shouldn't . try this and get

back here to tell us if it works...
