My CPU is acompaq with xp home sp2. I've just gone through a major virus

battle and things are looking good. The problem is ZERO connectivity.

Ive tried repairing the connection, and checked hardware profiles.

Everything is apparently fine but...

Many thanks

If you're quite sure the computer is clean:

Start>Run cmd [enter]

iexplore.exe /rereg [enter]

If that doesn't help, then some information from you as to your network

hardware and how you connect to the Internet, as well as what "major

virus" means will get you more focused advice.
