Guest JAG CHAN Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I am using Windows XP with SP2. I had installed a third party Software. When I uninstalled the software using Windows Add or Remove Program, uninstallation was partial. When I tried to remove the balance portion through Registry again I could remove only part of the software. When I tried to remove the last piece I got the message: "Cannot delete error while deleting key. When I tried to remove the sub keys I got the message "Unable to delete all specified values". Is there any way I can remove the software completely from my PC. Thanks.
Guest Owkmann Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Re: Uninstalltion Problem Try reinstalling the third party software, downloading and installing any updates to it, then uninstalling the whole thing. Guest steve7132@yahoo.com Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Re: Uninstalltion Problem One other thing you might need to do before un-installing is to go to my computer right click, click on properties and then click the System restore tab..check the box to turn off the system restore tab..you might be getting the error messages because it is being protected by the system restore mechanism "Martin ©¿©¬ @nohere.net" wrote: > u could try > uninstall tool at > http://www.crystalidea.com/index.php?q=download > > it's free > -- > Martin > ©¿©¬ > > -- > "Anyone who thinks that they are too small to make a difference > has never been in bed with a mosquito." >
