The program I'm trying to launch on this laptop is a golf analyzer program. This laptop had win2k on it and I got the same msvcp60.dll problem so I used the restore cd and loaded the original operating system 1st version win98. I get the same error using both operating systems.

Download the update, saving to disk rather than trying to run it from the remote location. Save to the Desktop or preferably to a dedicated download folder: http://download.microsoft.com/download/vc60pro/update/1/w9xnt4/en-us/vc6redistsetup_enu.exe Temporarily disable your antivirus, and run the installer. -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP Shell/User, A+ http://dts-l.org/ http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm
