rendom /list and domainlist.xml

Hi,

 

I'm in the process of renaming a domain from mydomain to mydomain.local.

When I do a rendom /list I see that domainlist.xml's NetBIOS names are

empty, except for the last record (ForestRoot) where I find:

 

DNSName=mydomain and NetBIOSname=MYDOMAIN

 

In my case, should I fill in NetBIOSname=MYDOMAIN in all four records

and change the other fields from mydomain to mydomain.local?

Hi again,

 

I would appreciate comments on this issue. I believe that the reason

for the empty NetBIOS name fields is the single label (non-dotted)

domain name. Please can anyone confirm or deny if I should leave the

NetBIOS name fields empty in the edited mydomain.local xml file.
