maynardvdm Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 (edited) Hi all It seems there is some confusion to whether SuperAntiSpyware(SAS) and MalwareBytes(MB) are antivirus products. They are NOT. But some people have other ideas on this matter, so feel free to have a say on this matter. Edited May 19, 2008 by maynardvdm Quote We are all members helping other members. DSTM Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Good point,Maynard.I have read over and over again,it is acceptable to run only one Antivirus, and multiple Antispyware applications if one wishes. Also not to scan straight after one another.Would be helpful if we knew which of these security Programs runs a true Antivirus,so they dont conflict with one another.Securing our systems, is of utmost importance.IMO.Thanks. Guest Wolfeymole Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Rule of thumb Dougie 1 Anti Virus product 1 Firewall It doesn't matter how many malware killers you run. Quote
