Upgrading from Windows 2000 to 2003

About to start this process (finally) I thought I'd save myself some time by

getting some experienced advice on the most straightforward approach relative

to my setup.

I have two 2000 servers, both domain controllers. I want to add a 2003

server to the mix. This machine will serve as the primary file server,

database, backup, etc.

I'm thinking I install it as a domain server, with the lovely replicated

user accounts, dns etc. Move the files using the migration tool from MS, then

upgrade the other 2000 machines to 2003 and switch to 2003 native mode from

the windows 2000 mode after the new server has been humming for a bit. Is

this the easiest path to follow? This 2003 server is meant to replace one of

the in place 2000 machines in every way (essentially a mirror)

Thanks for the advice.
