The 64's games had variety, ingenuity, and a renaissance feeling that has not been topped.

 

BTW- What the crap ever happened to my beloved pinball machine?

 

Funny story: (Ya I can be funny sometimes lol)...

 

Age about 14 in the early 80's and aggressively playing a pinball machine at a local roller skate arena. I flipped and ended up under the machine. I scrambled up and looked around. Either no one saw this great feat, or they just chuckled and went back to Space Invaders.:D

 

Even worse?

 

12 years old and stealing from the local "Checker's Variety" in Oshawa Ontario. In between such serious crime lol, I was addicted to the new "Pac Man"

 

One winter night, I was playing such at the store and teaching my younger sister the "patterns" to defeat Pac Man (I found a book for doing so and studied it profusely).

 

Anyway, in my passion for Pac Man, I didn't notice that my track pants had fell down to my knees and revealed my Canadian long underwear...until a customer pointed out such.

 

And my sister who was watching?

 

She remembers all that and more crazy stuff that I did. Like the time I "destroyed" a wasp nest in our backyard.

I love this argument - me and mates have it all the time, one says 360 one says PS3 and I always say pc - they go on about this and that and it comes down to:-

what do companies use to make 360 and PS3 games - A PC plain and simple argument over! :D

i haven't played every game ever made but if i had i'd still say goldeneye (for Nintendo 64) was the best.

It was extremely good - but you cant beat the classics like streets of rage and altered beast or golden axe - that were released on the sega mega drive!

AND thankfully they are being re-releaesed on the XBOX 360 in a huge bundle pack WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :D

It has to be PC, eventhough I do own a PS2, PSP and a PS3 and my brother has an Xbox 360, I prefer the PC to all, I do play more on the PS3 but that's because it's the newest thing I have so I am addicted to it but I will always end up reverting to my PC for games :)

 

But Sega Mega Drive or C64, I agree are very good
