Guest Sabo, Eric Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 After applying Service Pack 2 - Remote Desktop does not work on a windows 2003 Enterprise Server We applied Service Pack 2 to a Windows 2003 enterprise Server. Now when we try a remote desktop connection to this server we are getting "This computer can't connect to the remote computer." This worked prior to Service Pack 2 just fine. Any help would be helpful on this issue. Thanks, Eric Sabo

Have you checked if the server is listening on port 3389? Type "netstat -an" (without the quotes) in a command window on the console of the server. _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net *----------- Please reply in newsgroup -------------* "Sabo, Eric" <sabo_e@cup.edu> wrote on 24 jul 2007: > We applied Service Pack 2 to a Windows 2003 enterprise Server. > Now when we try a remote desktop connection to this server we > are getting "This computer can't connect to the remote > computer."
