Guest Will Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 In my Mce 2004 XP SP2 \local settings\temp file, have recently been getting new/questionable additions for various including this newsgroup. They are read only "www1F.tmp" (hex count is incrementing over time); containing for example: [DEFAULT] BASEURL=http://www.microsoft.com/athome/default.mspx [DOC_pagetools] XMLUSERDATA__Size=720D00007F XMLUSERDATA=3C0...etc.. (on and on for 8K) I would like to know why this is happening, or how to prevent it. Seems mainly to be coming from Microsoft.
