Hey guys it thought i'd pop back to this forum since it helped alot last time.

Ok i updated my drivers (well tried to) but i have a weird driver named Radeon™ X1300/X1550 series which i couldnt find an update for. So i tried updating using the Radeon™ X1550 series updates which i think has corrupted my system.

When i try to use any sort of game it crashes and my comp turns off and i get the blue screen of death.

How can i roll back my drivers? (My system restore doesnt have a date earlier than when i updated.)

Thanks

Hi Rootman88;

Welcome back.

You will need to go to "Device Manager". Here is one method.

Right click "My Computer".

Click "Properties".

Click "Device Manager".

In "Device Manager"

Double-click the device for which you want to restore the driver.

Click the "Driver" tab and then click the "Roll Back Driver" button.

You may have to reboot at this point.

I also suggest that you look into and start a new thread on System Restore and why you don't have any older restore points. We may be able to offer some insight into this.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Yeah i rolled back my drivers, no problems so far.

Ok heres answers to the questions:

1) I know how to use the system restore tool, however when i looked i had no earlier dates to go back to. The earliest was 27th of May (today).

2) I wanted to upgrade my drivers since i havent updated them since i had the comp (a few years back) and i wanted a better gaming performance.

Thanks
