Sure, they just can't have letters assigned. Please observe in Map

Network Drive Wizard.

Having never gotten past 13 drives, I wouldn't know. However, I might

suggest it's time to buy a second computer...

Or, much more likely, change your partitioning scheme.

Don't think so. Not sure why you would need that many drives/partitions but

you might think about adding a new server.

Re: more than 26 drives possible?

Well I can think of a reason.

I've got the 29 disc set of "Art Explosion" (clipart).

Instead of having to insert disc "x" all the time I've ripped the ISO's to

my HD & then set up a heap of drives with Alcohol 120%......... Works

terrific & it's not wearing out my drives at all. I just leave the most

often used ones mounted all the time.

Not sure who said they had to be HD's or partitions?

I'm at 19 drives myself... only two physical drives and single partition on

each. The rest are network shares or folder redirects.

Wouldn't that work better if you simply dumped all the files into a single

directory someplace? These are just data files, right?

Yes, that would work probably better I guess. I am actually considering

doing that but doing it direct onto an external HD. That way I can quite

easily just lend it to a friend if I wish to. Not real sure if the USB will

be fast enough but I suspect it might only slow searches down slightly. It

will be about 19gig of data.
