Guest ClaimsQueen Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 I've read a few threads on here where the common task pane went mysteriously missing. I've tried going through the folder options and selecting "Show common tasks in folders". This option is already selected and still does not bring up the common tasks pane. Can anyone help me figure out how to bring the tasks pane back? Thank you!

Is there already a left-side panel displayed showing the folder tree, favorites, history, or whatever? If you selected to view something in the Explorer bar then that is what gets displayed. The tasks panel only displays if NOTHING is selected to display in that panel. Under View -> Explorer Bar, make sure none are selected. Or you could click the "X" button at the top right of that panel to close it.
