Guest Ted Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 I am getting Chedsk /f message when I try to defrag my primary disk. I am also cannot checkdisk. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do?

Click Start, then Run. Type in chkdsk /f (with a space before the /). Click OK. Reboot. When the computer reboots, it should go into the chkdsk page. Let it do the work (a few minutes), and it will go back into Windows. Then try Defrag again. Let us know if that worked.
