Print preview different than what is printed

I am printing an excel document using win xp and a usb cable connected

to a Samsung ML-1710. The print preview shows everything is in its

proper place. When the document is actually printed, a number of

problems exist. These are, cutting off text at the bottom of page,

omitting footer, moving the header to the left side of page and

shifting text to the right slightly. I have reinstalled the printer

driver and Samsung says it is a problem with the program used to print

(excel). Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem?

Have you tried adjusting the page margins?

Is there a "fit to page" option in the printer properties?

The printer properties adjustment worked wonders. Thanks very much, I

would never of got this one on my own.

Funny Samsung telephone technical support couldn't help with this one.

Do these problems occur when printing with any other program?

Try printing some test pages from other programs, including non-office

programs.
