Guest Elvey Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Hi guys In my documents a folder has appeared where you get the admin, all users and my folder. It is showing as 0 bytes and 0 folders but it will not let me delete it, all I get is an error message saying can not delete access denied. Can anyone shed any light on how to remove it, I can but with a Win 98 startup disk to remove in DOS as both my drives are SATA. Any assistance would be appreciated. Regards Elvey

Guest P. Di Stolfo Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Re: Strange appearence of a folder which will not delete Hello, have you permissions for the folder? Right-click it and select "Properties" -> tab "Security", and look if you are listed there. Add yourself and give yourself all permissions. If this doesn't work, click "Advanced" -> Owner and make your account the owner. Try deleting again then. Greetings, P.
