Transfer Video tape to DVD?

I am using Win xp SP2. I would like to transfer some of my old VHS video

tapes to DVDs.

 

I am going to buy a DVD burner. Can this be done, how? Any URL?

Yes, it can be done & you can buy the hardware (connections) with software very

cheaply
