Guest Gregg Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Hello All, I have a Windows XP desktop on our factory floor. When this computer boots, certain processes need to finish before users can click on icons, start programs, etc. Unfortunately, this is not happening (users are clicking on icons too quickly). Is there a way to delay the appearance of the XP desktop via a setting or GPO? Thanks -- Gregg

Kick their stoooooopid asses until they freakin' learn. BTW... I don't think you can delay the appearance of the desktop until all process are loaded.

Who me? I'm only using a single seat system and I don't know how to monitor the process. I'd be interested though. -- Roger Hunt
