The OP hasn't stated whether he gets the correct characters when web browsing to sites that use the Russian language. If he does get the correct characters, then it is not a font problem. I think it is a locale problem. I think the Russian CD, like most older software, just assumes it is being run on a computer where Russia is the default locale and Russian is the default language. WXP can be set up with many different locales being the default. I've seen recent suggestions elsewhere in this newsgroup or the Vista general newsgroup on how to do it but no confirmation that they work. -Paul Randall
