Disable a warning box from the start menu

I am using WinXP Pro SP2. When i open the start menu a warning box pops

up saying "Some items cannot be show. there is not enough room.....".

How could i disable this warning?

Hi Stephen,

 

Either clean up the list (remove from this list) or change the number via

Start/Properties/Customize/Programs....

I think the "list" you mentioned is the most-recently-used (MRU) program

shortcut list at the lower right hand side lower part of the Start Menu.

I have nothing here further more i limited it to 5. The cause the

warning box is not here.
