Guest thecubemonkey@gmail.com Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hi all, I'm curious, if I'm just viewing images from a CD (not stored on my C Drive), are those photos cached somewhere on my hard drive? I'm just viewing them using Windows Explorer 'Preview' option or even the image viewer. Thanks
Guest Gary S. Terhune Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Re: Photos stored in cache? No. Thumbnails, or previews, whatever, are stored in the same folder as the images they belong to. In the case of a CD, those things can't be stored on the CD, so they aren't created. But the names of the files may be stored in various MRU locations. Also, if the images are part of a web page, then the images may well get cached in the TIF system. -- Gary S.
