Guest Ahmed Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hi i get this error when using internet explorer "not always" but it happens when there is a flash or shockwave movie on the site. it shows an error and ask to close or send a report to microsoft. i know this file is a flash plug-in to internet explorer. it happens on both IE6.x and IE7. i already tried to uninstall the flash from the computer and install it again. uninstall the plug-in and install it again. i have anti-virus and anti-spyware and a firewall. already scanned with different anti-spywares and anti-virueses. am an advance user "Network administrator and systems developer" for XP so dont hesitate to give any solutions if there are any coz i tried almost everything. thank you in advance

Where did you get that "Flash Player" from. The latest Adobe Flash Player release version is '9,0,45,0' (Flash9c.ocx rather than Flash9d.ocx). Check with http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ Not a Windows issue anyway. -- d-d

I visited that site yesterday prior to posting and a German Adobe Flash Player site as well. If the Player is outdated, these sites offer to install an update usually and this was *not* the case concerning the installed version 9,0,45,0. I reinstalled the Flash Player manually today, winding up with the version 9,0,47,0 (Flash9d.ocx). No problems here - contact the the Adobe tech support if your problem persists. > thanx any way 'Welcome. -- d-d
