Guest Shane Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Greetings, I'm using Windows XP and have enabled the Address Bar in my task bar. As an avid keyboarder, I tend to use Alt+Tab to cycle between programs and Ctrl+Tab to cycle around my desktop and the like. The one thing I want to do and haven't figured out how is to use the keyboard to access the Address Bar on my taskbar. If I'm in Explorer or IE, I just use Alt+D. Is there a way to keyboard-shortcut to go to different toolbars on the taskbar? Thanks, Shane

If the Address Bar is just right of the Running Tasks, and you have the QL bar, a quick WinKey, Tab, Tab, Tab should get you there. -- Joe =o)
Guest Shane Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Re: XP Keyboard Shortcuts Taskbar Address Bar Joe, THANKS! When I click Ctrl/Esc it opens the Start Menu, but then Tabs don't seem to be cycling through for me, so I experimented and if I minimize all windows (Windows+D), then simply hit Tab it cycles through my Desktop/Start Menu/Taskbar/Addy Bar/Systray, which works great for me! I'd been minimizing all windows, then using Ctrl+Tab to access the Desktop/Start/Task/QL/Systray cycle, and never realized I could simply have hit Tab to access the desktop, then tab tab tab for those areas.... I KNEW there HAD to be a way!
