Guest Christi Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I have Windows XP SP2 on my home computer. I keep getting the "blue screen" and my computer shuts off. I tried reinstalling Windows SP and it tells me that I'm missing file "MSWMDM.dll". I'm also getting a message that says I have a virus: WIN32/RUSTOCK.gen!c Any help with either of these problems would be very much appreciated! Thank you. -- Christi
Guest Gary S. Terhune Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Re: Missing .dll File Go to http://aumha.org/secure.htm. Click on Forums at the very top, then scroll down to the Security section, choose a forum and post your problem there. This needs more focused attention and experience than can typically be found here. I don't find any removal tools that list that virus as one that can be removed. You need someone who's familiar with that virus to help you clean up (if that's possible.) -- Gary S.
