Guest edki Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 How do I get rid of this product from my computer? Because of it, I cannot plug my phone into my PC. It keeps “answering” my phone. It does not show up in “add/remove programs”. I have been told it is buried in my Microsoft XP Home Edition. The “About” screen says it was developed by Active Voice for Microsoft. I have spent 12 hours on the phone with Microsoft Support and they cannot figure it out. I spent $279 on a professional to get rid of it and it keeps coming back.
Guest retread Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 RE: Active Voice Dialer 1.50 "dialer" is located in XP Pro in the folder "Windows nt". I assume you can grab it from the Home version as well. Search for the file "dialer.exe". I would assume also (if it were me under your circumstances) that it would be easy to delete. I am not an expert, but after spending the effort you have without a solution, this may help. "edki" wrote: > How do I get rid of this product from my computer?
