Guest Peter Macphail Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Started having trouble with Windows not recognising my digital camera but now it won't recognise a USB scanner or the firewire input for the camcorder. What can I look at to find out why this has happened and how to repair it? thanks in advance. -- Regards, Peter Macphail
Guest Tony Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 RE: Not Finding USB or Firewire Devices such as camera, video, or scan I have the same problem. I have Vista Ultimate on a new PC with both USB and firewire ports. I have a Sony DCR HC26, and Windows will not see it with either the USB or firewire cable. Vista sees ofthe USB devices plus the firewire card anf USB and firewire drivers look OK. According to Sony website this camera is compatible with Vista ilink. Any help here by anyone would great appreciated "Peter Macphail" wrote: > Started having trouble with Windows not recognising my digital camera but now > it won't recognise a USB scanner or the firewire input for the camcorder. > What can I look at to find out why this has happened and how to repair it? > thanks in advance. > -- > > Regards, > Peter Macphail
