Guest nass Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 RE: core system Hi You old man again LOL, Do you mean Multi-threading or multi-core process?. If so, yes you can if your CPU support that. More info here: http://search.microsoft.com/results.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&q=Multi-threading+or+multi-core+process Or do you mean copy something to what Directory? and for what aspect. Guest larry jordan Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Re: core system Hello Shoot , I read on one of these xp home tweak and tips web site that keeping the core system in ram would give me better perforance. below is the instructions they gave to do it. Launch the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe). Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ Session Manager\Memory Management. Double-click DisablePagingExecutive DWORD value. Change the value in the Value Data text box from 0 to 1, and click OK. Close the Registry Editor thanks larry "Ken Blake, MVP" <kblake@this.is.am.invalid.domain> wrote in message news:c7rpa317kcr8vuc9aru6fbd87amu9610oj@4ax.com... > On Sun, 29 Jul 2007 03:24:00 -0700, larry > <larry@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: > > >> Is it a good idea to keep core system in memory? > > > Sorry, I don't understand.
