Hi You old man again LOL,

Do you mean Multi-threading or multi-core process?.

If so, yes you can if your CPU support that.

More info here:

http://search.microsoft.com/results.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&q=Multi-threading+or+multi-core+process

Or do you mean copy something to what Directory? and for what aspect.

HTH.

Hello

Shoot , I read on one of these xp home tweak and tips web site that

keeping the core system in ram would give me better perforance. below is

the instructions they gave to do it.

Launch the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\

Session Manager\Memory Management.

Double-click DisablePagingExecutive DWORD value.

Change the value in the Value Data text box from 0 to 1, and click OK.

Close the Registry Editor

The other article cited infered some kind of performance increase - though

this article suggests a performance hit on machines with large amounts of

RAM.

"Decreasing response time" is a performance increase, NOT a performance hit.
