Non Admin TS Users cannot copy and Paste to Remote Desktop

Hi,

When the Administrator connects to the TS on Server 2003 (Standard), Copy

and Paste to my local machine is fine. When anyone else Connects the same way

the Copy function just hangs forever and you can never copy.

Our other remote site works in the same way without a problem. (Still

looking for the different setting(s).

The RDC "Disk Drives" setting is crossed also.

I feel it may be a rights thing but cannot find it, any ideas?

Some facts:

Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition.

TS License installed

The remote site is actually on the same lan, ie: Technically Local, the

other site that works is really remote.

All applications etc work ok via the Server.

The Local server is a Domain Controller, with DNS installed.

The Remote Server is a Sub Domain.

Syncronisation between servers is via Hamachi

Thanks

Mat

Did you enable "Clipboard redirection" in RDC setting?

Re: Non Admin TS Users cannot copy and Paste to Remote Desktop

Thanks for the reply Rong,

Yes it is enabled.

Update: I applied Administrator Rights to a user and then he could Copy and

Paste.

I suspect that result may have been expected but I thought I would include

my findings as I try to figure out this problem.

thanks

I'd start digging around your gpo's and whatever other security measures

you have put in place.
