If you've been hit with some kind of virus/trojan, that has disabled it?

And you've only got a Guest account in XP Home?

As above a mate has this prob. is there any way to fix it, besides

formatting??

Any info appreciated

Thanx

You can google for "reset xp administrator password" and you will get all

types of links

For example:

Tell your friend to boot into Safe Mode and try to log on with

the built-in Administrator account. To boot into Safe Mode,

restart the computer and start hitting the F8 key as soon as

the system reboots. Use the UP arrow key to select Safe Mode

from the menu.

Good luck

It is not always F8. It is F2 on mine - not sure why.
