Guest hanabananana Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Hi there...newbie here. i have a question/emergency. i recently updated to windows xp service pack 3. the first night, everything worked ok but when i shut down my computer, it downloaded more updates. now, everytime i open outlook express, it asks me for a "main identity" password. i have tried almost every password that i have ever had that was tied to outlook express and nothing has worked. is this from the new service pack? can i reset the password? or if i do figure out the password, will i get all of my emails back? please help!
Guest Peter Foldes Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Re: Outlook Express Help! First of all this newsgroup deals with Windows XP not with Outlook Express. You will need to repost this issue to an OutlookExpress newsgroup as per the link below. Where did you get SP3. There is no SP3 there is only SP2 http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general. -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged.
