I support multiple Laptops for multiple end-users. These end-users and their laptops at various times log onto, authenticate and connect to an Novell Netware Network tree. All end-users are using an Novell Client 4.91 SP3 for Windows program. At the initial Novell for Windows Log on screen, they uncheck the Work Station only box. They insert their Network UserName and Password, same as their Local Windows Account Username and Password. The two accounts are set in sync with each other. The correct Novell Network Tree and Context setting are confirmed. The Network Authentication process is completed and the Network Paths are mapped and connected. But during the loading of the end-user account's desktop display screen the following Windows error message appears. Windows cannot find '/idlist,:540:3448,'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search. The Username inserted is correct. The User Name is the same for the end-users. The Local Windows Account matches the Novell Network Account. All of the required Network Path connections do complete in the log on process. But for some reason the Novell Network log on is having problems matching up this end-user's local Windows account during the network log on process. This particular Windows /idlist error does not appear when the initial Novell for Windows log on screen appears and the Work Station Only [Local Windows] account log in is used. Is there a know fix how to resolve this particular Windows /idlist error? Thanks for the assistance.
