Guest WetBehindEars Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I have setup a root folder on DC1. Do I want to setup a root target to point to the other server I want to run DFS with or do I just keep the root on DC1 and then create links with like targets to the two places (DC1 and the secondary server)?
Guest Chuck Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 RE: Root folder/target in DFS?? Well, if you want to have a failover on your DFS, you will need to setup another DFS Root on another server but it's not necessary. Chuck "WetBehindEars" wrote: > I have setup a root folder on DC1.
