Trial version and windows server 2003

I have installed trial version of windows server 2003 standard for

testing. Now we have purchased VLK and need to apply it to the test

server without doing a compete reinstall.

Test server has an application and I do not want to lose the database

on it. Is there a way to swap the product key so that I can continue

to use it without complete install?
