Guest Jim Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Hi, Trying to logon to a Novell server with Windows 2003R2 terminal server and the latest Novell client. The Novell login does not get processed so the user goes straight to the windows desktop. It is possible then to logon to Novell (using the same credentials) but I can't get it to process both Windows and Novell logon. Anyone know how? TIA

I could be totally off here, because I've never used Novell, but check if this helps: Administrative Tools, Terminal Services Configuration, right-click RDP-TCP, Properties, uncheck "Use standard Windows logon interface" _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ Jim <nospam@any.time> wrote on 31 jul 2007 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > Hi, > Trying to logon to a Novell server with Windows 2003R2 terminal > server and the latest Novell client. Guest Jim Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Re: Logon to Novell at the same time as TS (same credentials)? Thanks, that was already unchecked, but in the same area I found the "always prompt for password" setting and checked that. Now users do get the opportunity to log in to Novell but it looks like they will have to enter name and password at two prompts. Almost there... Again, this is only from what I've picked up from other posts, but it is my understanding that you need Zenworks for Desktops for this. _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ Jim <nospam@any.time> wrote on 01 aug 2007 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > Thanks, that was already unchecked, but in the same area I found > the "always prompt for password" setting and checked that.
