Desktop Search Install without TaskBar

Hi,

 

I want to install new version of Windows Desktop Search, but most of my

users have the Deskbar turned off and just use the little magnifying glass

icon next to clock.

 

Is there any way to install the new version with this setup by default, or

retaining the old settings on the PC?
