trying to run stinger

Hi guys,

 

downloaded ( least I tried, "thought" it worked ) Stinger from the McAfee

Site & saved to desktop.

When I try to run it - no can do- says Stinger.exe is not a valid Win 32

application.

Running Xp Sp 2 here.

Thanks for your response Rey. It says the download completed .I just

re-tried again-same results. Not sure what to do to get it to work but will

keep trying .

Re: trying to run stinger

 

This is generally a sign that the file corrupted during the download.

Continue downloading until you get one that works. Or, try downloading with

another computer and then transfer it to your computer.

Try running it in Safe Mode; I suspect a smart virus is blocking its

usage, or preventing any .exe from running.. Also try this:

 

Fix File Associations. Run the .exe fix.
