While trying to install new software I received the following message:

"Could not write value ThreadingModel to key

\software\Classes\CLSID\{1171A62F-05D2-11D1-83FC-00A0C9089C5A}InprocServer32

Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support

personnel."

Please help!!!

Re: Trying to Install new Software

If it is Adobe software, they have a solution on their site for error 1404.

Re: Trying to Install new Software

No it is not Adobe. It is from Serif and I have installed several of their
