Hello everyone:D

I've made the switch on both PC's from IE to Firefox. It's not as steep as a learning curve as I'd feared. Can anyone please advise me of a few things.

How can I transfer favourites from IE to Firefox? - I know it offers the option when setting up, but when I set the PC on my dad's computer, I had set it up on my user account. At present he has no favourites and has to revert back to IE7.

Why do our interfaces look different? - they are meant to be the same - unless I've added/changed more than I thought.

I will read the helpfiles to see if I can help myself for once ;)

Well as you said Steve, there isn't much to learn in Firefox but rather to explore. There is a simple work around to get your Dad's bookmarks by importing them into Firefox. Here is how to do it.

1) Open Mozilla Firefox.

2) Click on the Bookmarks toolbar and select Organize Bookmarks....

3) In the new Window that opens, click on the File toolbar and select the Import.. option.

This will get you the same kind of Window you first got when you opened Firefox. Import your father's bookmarks and delete your own if you want to. I think thats all you asked for. Happy Exploring! :)
