Guest Alan T Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 My SATA harddisk has 3 partitions and due to some reasons they appear 0 bytes size. Any tools I can recover the data?
Guest Tim Starid Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 RE: Harddisk partitions have 0 bytes I am sorry to say your harddrive is likely dead. If you've decided that already and decided you have nothing to loose I recommend doing this: Make a floppy restore disk (can download the files online, or make one with win 95/98. Once you get a command prompt type fdisk /mbr This will format you master boot record. If you restart and eject the disk you may be able to reformat the drive to windows if the MBR was corrupt.
