Hello,

I ran mem test 86 on my pc while I was in bed after work this morning.

It was on for about 6 hours.

It passed all tests without errors.

I reset to boot into windows and all it did was sit and do three beeps.pause and do three beeps again.

I switched it off a the psu switch, unplugged the lead put it back in and rebooted and it was fine.

Can anyone tell me if this means anything is fried?

Its just had some new ram so I hope its not that!,maybe it could be because it was warm?

Its never done this before so hopefully its just an isolated incident.

Thanks for any advice.

Did you experience this problem, anytime later again? Or has it stopped after the incident? I tried to search regarding your problem but it came up with nothing significant. I believe that the beeps and the lapse were caused because the BIOS was probably identifying the hardware change or modification. :)

Hi

According to BIOS Central that means A memory failure has occurred in the first 64K of RAM. The RAM IC is probably bad
