Guest dobey Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Re: New Vista computer 300 euros for a non-gaming VGA card? Just get onboard graphics, or something with onboard and a PCIE slot so you can add a VGA card later. It's possible you may need a DX10 compatible card in the future. Guest Bob I Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Re: New Vista computer Perhaps the folks in the Vista group would be more likely to have used the hardware you ask about in the intended environment. This group is Windows XP operating system. Either ATI or nVidia should be fine. For business, non-gaming use, it's not necessary to spend anywhere near that amount of money. A *much* cheaper card will do just as well. Is your monitor LCD? Just make sure that you get a card that supports its native resolution. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User Please Reply to the Newsgroup
