Guest Benny Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I have Windows XP Pro. When I insert a USB memory stick I only get the Auto option to open images. I no longer get an option to "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer". I have checked 'Properties/AutoPlay' for that drive but I can't see anyway to reset defaults. Mixed Content is blank. If I select 'Prompt me each time to select an option' I get the image downloads option only when I insert the USB. I have also found that the PC taskbar at the bottom freezes. Any ways to get it to work correctly again. thanks Benny
Guest Tim Starid Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 RE: USB Autoplay not working correctly My favorite recommendation: Put your windows CD in your CD Rom Drive Go to the Start Menu Run: sfc.exe /scannow This will repair any damaged/missing files. Reboot when complete Run Windows Update Reboot when complete.
