Guest lakshmiram.saikia@gmail.com Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I need to do some dos attack experiment on a security software to analyse its performance. But I am not able to find any dos attack tools for this purpose. Can somebody let me know from where I can get the installations of such tools ?

If you have to ask such a question, then any "security review" that you might then attempt would not be worth much, if anything, as you would not be capable of formulating a worthwhile attack strategy. To probe and harden, you need to be better than the guys'n'gals that are trying to break in, and you can bet your bippy that THEY know where to find any tools that they might need, or know how to write them themselves. No offense meant, but those are the cold, hard facts...... -- "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on."
