Guest kjs Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Is there a way to limt access to a server, thru rdp, for certain ip addresses?
Guest TP Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Re: rdp session Below are some methods you can use: 1. Your existing firewall device may have the ability to only allow incoming connections to port 3389 from certain ip addresses. Check the documentation. 2. Edit the Remote Desktop Exception scope in Windows Firewall on your Terminal Server to only include certain ip addresses. 3. You can use IPSec to limit which addresses can connect to your TS. Here is a video clip that walks through the set up using the IP Security Policies mmc snapin: http://tshelp.bravehost.com/demos/ipsec_rdp.html -TP kjs wrote: > Is there a way to limt access to a server, thru rdp, for certain ip > addresses?
